Covenant

Confession becomes commitment. The people put their seal on a covenant: worship, Sabbath, households, the house of God. Rebuilding that never becomes a way of life will crumble again.

A long remembering
Chapter 9 is the story of God and the stubbornness of His people. We confess inside a story, not as a self-help moment.
Because of all this
Covenant is a response to mercy. We do not bargain. We answer.
Practical holiness
Sabbath, marriage, the house of God not neglected. Spiritual language with no calendar is just fog.
