The path
Step 5 · King
Jesus reigns
Live ready. He is coming.
Jesus is the Soon-Coming King. Hope is not escape — it is fuel for a holy life, a faithful job, a kept marriage, and a church that stays awake.
People who know the King is coming do not live like the house is theirs to wreck. This step is about allegiance, hope, and everyday obedience.
If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.
Colossians 3:1–2
Practices
For a mentor conversation
- If Jesus returned this month, what would you wish you had made right?
- What rival kingdom has the most pull on your calendar?
- How does hope of His coming change the way you work, parent, or ride?
- Where is the King asking you to take a small, concrete step of obedience?
